Hi, I am working with DSpace 6 and I am looking for a possibility to either publish items directly to a community or to add a collection directly to DSpace root, without a parent community. Is either of both possible?
At the moment I am faced with the sad possibilities of adding either: Community SameNameTwice > Collection SameNameTwice > Items or: Community X > a number of made up collections without much sense > Items Or is there some other workaround for this problem in DSpace 6? I also thought I read something of a unification of Communities and Collections in a future release? This would a very pleasant change.
