Hello, I'm a student at Universidade de BrasÃla (UnB) and part of a research and development group. I'm setting up a DSpace repository so we can use in our application. We are developing a law-based application and I need to submit a big amount of laws and jurisdictions. I've found a site containing a large database of these types of files, it also contains a XML sitemap of its data. I'm don't have any experience using digital libraries and this is my first contact with DSpace (using version 6.x). I was wondering if any of the standard protocols are useful to extracting data from this law repository and depositing it in ours (100,000+ files) and if there isn't, I want to know what would you guys recommend me to solve this.
