Hi Leonardo, No, there should not be problems with using both the JSPUI and XMLUI simultaneously.
However, I believe users may need to login separately to each interface. Additionally, you'll have to choose which interface to configure in the "dspace.ui" (or "dspace.url") configuration in dspace.cfg. The configured interface will just be the one that shows up in email links (and similar) sent by DSpace.
