maybe it is just a configuration issue, if DSpace is not your root
application you got to configure a bit more see

We recently upgraded from Dspace 6.2 to 6.3, everything seems to be working
except Swordv1, Swordv2 works fine.
I can't find the reason as to why sword does not work. When
accessing http://repository.temple.edu:8080/sword/servicedocument I get the
404 error so I know apache is working.
I've checked local.cfg, sword-server.cfg and the webapps xml file for sword
and they are all as before.
I feel like I'm missing something simple.
