Hi, As Emilio points out, ItemUpdate -A (capitalized for add bitstreams) should work. As I recall, similar to building SIPs for legacy ItemImport except at minimum you only need the handle URL for the existing item in your dublin_core.xml and a contents file with the .pdf file name. Get the URL’s from your original saved ItemImport mapfile, if you have them. You could always create a couple of these SIPs by hand and test. Arguably preferable to suppressing the current records and you keep the existing handle URLs.
