Thank you, Pablo, but my IT department explained to me that the backup 
server solution they are using has a client for Ubuntu, but not for Debian, 
which is a deal breaker for me :(

If I don't use Debian, would Ubuntu Server 21.04 work for me (understanding 
that it is only the second best choice)?
