Dear DSpace Community,

On behalf of the DSpace Steering and Leadership Groups and our home
organization LYRASIS, I am pleased to share with you the wonderful news
that the Global Sustainability Coalition for Open Science Services (SCOSS)
<http://www.scoss.org/> has selected DSpace as one of three organizations
to support in its third round of fundraising. In its past rounds, SCOSS has
helped raise more than 3.3 million Euros for open scholarship
infrastructures, and we are excited to work together with them to bring new
resources to sustain and grow the DSpace platform and community. Read below
for the full announcement, and please consider contributing your
institution's support to DSpace through this important initiative.

Best regards,

Kristi Park

*Ready, steady, pledge! SCOSS launches its third pledging round *

Having brought to the attention of the open scholarship community the need
to help sustain DOAJ, Sherpa Romeo, DOAB, Open Citations, and PKP, – and
having helped raise more than 3.3 million Euros for these infrastructures –
the Global Sustainability Coalition for Open Science Services (SCOSS)
<http://www.scoss.org/> is happy to launch its 3rd pledging round.

After a rigorous evaluation process, SCOSS has chosen three new
organizations which it will support in raising funds to sustain their
future. We are happy to welcome as new partners arXiv <https://arxiv.org/>,
Redalyc <https://www.redalyc.org/>/AmeliCA <http://amelica.org/>, and DSpace
<https://duraspace.org/dspace/>!

You can learn more about each organization by watching their Two-Minute

We invite you to read more about how to pledge here (

We hope that you will consider contributing to one, two, or all three of
these carefully selected Open Science Infrastructures, as their future
depends on community support. Let’s work together to build a healthy Open
Science ecosystem!
