Hi Jan, It almost sounds like maybe you skipped copying the DSpace Solr cores (including "statistics") over into your Solr installation? See step 13 of the backend install. https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-BackendInstallation
Basically, that error sounds like Solr is complaining that the "solr/statistics" folder has not been copied over into Solr itself. That's my best guess based on the info you've provided so far. But, if that's not the case, we may need more information on your setup... and you also may want to check for additional errors in your logs (also check the Solr logs to see if it's having other issues starting up for some reason) Let us know on this list if this helps.
