Hi Steve,

A fix for this is coming in 7.5 (due Feb 20). In 7.5, we have a newly
redesigned Item "Edit Metadata" tab which allows for easier drag-and-drop
reordering of metadata values (including values which are dynamically linked to
other Entities via relationships). The work has already been accepted as part
of this PR https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-angular/pull/2028

So, expect to see this made much easier in the next release of 7.x

Tim

Subject: [dspace-community] Relationship Re-ordering

Hi all,

Is there any way to re-order related entities via the UI currently. The use
case would be the Authors of Publications, where the display order of the
Authors matters. If there happen to be 5 Authors of a Publication, and Authors
1 and 2 are reversed, it seems the only way to resolve is to remove and re-add
all the Authors.

Is this a possible future feature request?

Thanks,

Steve
