It's unclear what version of DSpace you are talking about.  But, assuming 
you are asking about DSpace 7, we have instructions in our "Installing 
DSpace" guide for setting up HTTPS/SSL.

* Backend HTTPS is in step 17 of the Backend 
Install:

* Frontend HTTPS is in step 8 of the Frontend 
Install:
