The first question I would ask is: how do they define "multitenant"? The Community container enables the sharing of a single instance of DSpace among groups who should not share control of each others' assets, and who may wish to have distinct logos or themes, submission forms and vocabularies, etc. for their materials. Alternatively, here we run three instances of DSpace, embodying three distinct repositories, in one Tomcat instance on one host. This implements a complete isolation of distinct lower-traffic repositories without duplication of equipment. What are their requirements for multi-tenancy? -- Mark H.
