Hi,
Expanding on José's comment, currently Elsevier has already developed
the connector via REST (the SWORD connector will possibly be
discontinued in mid-2024, because we will have to change a project using
this connector in that date ) But I understand that it is a propietary
connector (the PURE side). Both the Dspace alternatives (sword or rest)
are open sourced

Hi Frank,
The existing integration between PURE and DSpace is based on SWORDv2
interface (an open protocol), but the feature from the PURE side is paid.
If you have access to an API of the PURE system (is there one
available?), you can probably get the items and send them to DSpace,
with SWORD or the DSpace API.
I don't know of any open connector to integrate PURE with DSpace.

Hi all,
I am new to this community and my institution is considering using
DSpace as our future institutional repository. We use Pure from
Elsevier as our CRIS system. A standard connector for DSpace can
be activated in Pure so that full text records with metadata can
be deposited and updated from Pure to DSpace. However, this
default connector is proprietary software and we would prefer an
open source connector. Is there any institution or company that
has already developed a connector between Pure and DSpace based on
an open source protocol and willing to share it with us?
Kind regards,
