This guide can be followed if you are migrating from an older version of DSpace to a newer one, as well. Or you could follow the Upgrade guide (either approach works): https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC8x/Upgrading+DSpace If you followed that guide & ran into issues, we'd need more information on the errors you received.
