Call for Participation: DSpace Praxistreffen 2025 * English Version below *
Das DSpace Praxistreffen 2025 wird am 27. und 28. März 2025 in Bamberg, Deutschland stattfinden. Das #DSpacePT25 wird von der Universitätsbibliothek der Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg und The Library Code GmbH veranstaltet. Die Vorträge werden aufgezeichnet und wir prüfen derzeit, ob ein Livestream angeboten werden kann. Ziel ist der Austausch zwischen Nutzerinnen und Nutzern von DSpace bzw. DSpace-CRIS. Am ersten Tag des Praxistreffens findet am Nachmittag auch das jährliche Treffen des DSpace Konsortiums Deutschland statt. Wir bitten um Einreichungen in Form von Vorträgen, Thementischen und Workshops. Die Vorträge und Thementische finden am 27. März, die Workshops am 28. März 2025 statt. Am 27. März wollen wir auch wieder eine Madness-Minute veranstalten. Ziel ist es die Vielfalt der Einsatzzwecke von DSpace und DSpace-CRIS zu zeigen und Werbung für das eigene Repositorium, Forschungsinformationssystem und die Institution zu machen. Mit einer Folie soll in einer Minute eine DSpace- oder DSpace-CRIS-Installation vorgestellt werden, mit mindestens einem Screenshot. Welche Software in welcher Version wird verwendet? Wofür wird sie genutzt und gegebenenfalls gerne was ist an Ihr besonders? Vorträge: Ein oder zwei Redner, ca. 15-20 Minuten + 5 Minuten Diskussion. Bitte reichen Sie ein: Die Namen aller Referenten, einen Titel des Vortrags und eine kurze Zusammenfassung. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Vorträge aufgezeichnet und live online gestreamt werden. Thementische: Raum für Diskussionen zu einem bestimmten Thema zu DSpace und/oder DSpace-CRIS, ca. 45 Minuten. Bitte reichen Sie ein: Themen, die Ihrer Meinung nach von den Nutzenden diskutiert werden sollten, und die Namen von einem oder zwei Moderatoren für den Thementisch. Die Thementische werden nicht aufgezeichnet/gestreamt. Workshops: Workshops sollen die Möglichkeit geben, bis zu drei Stunden lang gemeinsam an einem bestimmten Thema zu arbeiten, zum Beispiel die Verknüpfung von DSpace mit einem speziellen Service oder die ausführliche Präsentation eines Add-ons. Der Workshop zu konfigurierbaren Entitäten von DSpace 7 vom DSpace Praxistreffen 2025, ist ein gutes Beispiel für dieses Format. Bitte reichen Sie ein: Titel, ein Abstract, einen Zeitrahmen, wie viele Teilnehmer Sie ungefähr erwarten und ob Sie spezielle Wünsche haben, wie z.B. ein Whiteboard, einen Beamer oder ein Setup, das Teilnehmende vorbereiten sollen. Kontaktieren Sie uns vorab, wenn Sie sich mit uns beraten möchten. Die Workshops und Thementische werden nicht aufgezeichnet/gestreamt. Minute-Madness: Für die Anmeldung senden Sie uns bitte die URL der DSpace oder DSpace-CRIS-Installation, genutzte Software und Version, betreibende Institution und Name der vorstellenden Person. Die Vorstellung vor Ort soll bitte die Institution, den Einsatzzwek und die Installation von DSpace/DSpace-CRIS kurz vorstellen (siehe oben). Eine:r Vortragende:r, 1 Minute, 1 Folie. Alle Folien sollten unter CC BY 4.0 lizenziert sein, da wir planen, sie im DSpace-Wiki zu veröffentlichen. The #DSpacePT25 is hosted by the University Library of the Otto Friedrich University Bamberg and The Library Code GmbH. The talks will be recorded and we are currently looking into offering a livestream. The goal is an exchange between users of DSpace or DSpace-CRIS. On the first day of the Praxistreffen, the annual meeting of the DSpace Consortium Germany will also take place in the afternoon. We invite submissions in the form of presentations, round tables and workshops. The presentations and round tables will take place on March 27th, the workshops on March 28th 2025. On 27 March, we also want to organise another Madness Minute. The aim is to show the variety of uses of DSpace and DSpace-CRIS and to promote your own repository, research information system and institution. A DSpace or DSpace-CRIS installation should be presented in one minute with at least one screenshot. Which version of which software is used? What is it used for and, if applicable, what is special about it? Presentations: One or two speakers, approx. 15-20 minutes + 5 minutes discussion. Please submit: The names of all speakers, a title of the presentation and a short abstract. Please note that the presentations will be recorded and will likely be streamed live online. Round Tables: A space for discussion on a specific topic related to DSpace and/or DSpace-CRIS. Estimated 45 minutes. Please submit: Topics you think a round table should discuss and the names of one or two presenters for the round table. The topic tables will not be recorded/streamed. Workshops: Workshops are designed to provide the opportunity to work together for up to three hours on a specific topic, such as linking DSpace to a specific service or presenting an add-on in detail. The workshop on configurable entities in DSpace 7 that has taken place at DSpace Praxistreffen 2024 is a good example of this format. Please submit: Title, an abstract, a time frame, how many attendees you expect, and if you have any specific requests, such as a whiteboard, projector, or setup for participants to prepare. Contact us in advance if you would like to consult with us. The workshops and round tables will not be recorded/streamed. Minute-Madness: To register, please send us the URL of the DSpace or DSpace-CRIS installation, the software and version used, the operating institution and the name of the person making the presentation. The on-site presentation should briefly introduce the institution, the application and the installation of DSpace/DSpace-CRIS (see above). One presenter, 1 minute, 1 slide. All slides should be licensed under CC BY 4.0, as we plan to publish them on the DSpace wiki.
