DSpace is free to use and is open source.  Its source code is licensed 
under a BSD 3-Clause open source license.  You can find the source code 
license at https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/main/LICENSE

Therefore, you are welcome to install & use DSpace however you see fit, 
provided that you adhere to the open source license for the codebase.  You 
can install it on your own machines/servers or, alternatively, we have trusted 
service providers <https://dspace.org/registered-service-providers/> you 
can hire to install it or host it for you.
