I wanted to make a horizontal list of alphabetical links. Rather than
spend hours trawling through the code as I usually end up doing, I
tried reading the Official Documentation. It sure looked like
'List authorsIndex = authorsDiv.addList("authors-index",
List.TYPE_SIMPLE, "horizontal");' would do that, but neither the type
nor the 'rend' has any effect that I can see. They're only even
mentioned in one theme (Mirage-1) and I haven't yet figured out what,
if anything, they affect there. Did I miss something?If you've ever heard anyone say that XMLUI is hard to customize, this is one of the things that person is talking about. -- Mark H.
