Hi All,
We have a special requirement of capturing Item Metadata (in the submission process) in HTML rather than plain text. For eg , say "Abstract" field(dc.description.abstract) in the metadata needs to be captured as HTML so that when the item is viewed later, in the summary form or detailed form, the abstract is shown rendered in markup langauage.Say if <a href> is given, then this becomes a link when viewing the metadata in the Item Viewer page.

How do we make this.
I tried looking into the EditMetadata code/Page for Community/Collection, which specifically says HTML for introductory text/news text and later gets into the Community Page.
But of no luck.
I am not that good with cocoon, and feels this has something to do in this area.
I tried some hacking in the themes/.xsl file, but of no avail.

We use Dspace 1.5 with Manakin.
Please revert.
Thanks and Regards
Flemion.
