Andrea, I'd vote against using the main messages.properties file for these
messages. It would just confuse things for folks wanting to customize the
XMLUI, as they'd have to determine whether a particular message is stored in
messages.properties or messages.xml
Unfortunately I'm not sure of a quick fix to this one, and I likely will not
have time to look into this in the near future. So, I'd say we may want to
delay this fix, unless someone else has any ideas. It's also worth noting
there is another I18N issue with the XMLUI that won't make it into 1.5.2
(DS-133). I think this means that there may be a need for a 1.5.3 to clean up
some of these I18N issues with the XMLUI.
