File descriptions can not be removed/cleared in XMLUI

A bitstream's description, once added, cannot be removed via XMLUI. If the
input field is completely cleared, and "Save" is clicked, the description will
revert back to the previous value. Any edits which result in a string of at
least one character are saved correctly.
JSPUI does not suffer from this issue.
