I support extending the event system along these lines, provided we understand
clear use-cases for additional event-types. For example, I agree that there is
a clear need for an "INSTALLED" event (Item), which could trigger notifications
to all kinds of systems that now can only rely on an imperfect event (Item
creation) - it is imperfect since the Item may never exit workflow.
