Pursuant to yesterdays Dspace meeting on Duraspace, I need assistance
with the following documentation issues:
1. Event System Configuration. We have the property keys and brief
(6 works or less) notation. But I'm in need of a
prefatory remark as to what it does, and perhaps some of options that
are being offered.
2. Browse Indexes. This is a big one. There isn't a week that
doesn't go by that someone doesn't ask a question about
them. I need someone or two to volunteer to answer my questions (as
simple or complex) off list. There are configuration
values that present in the documentation, but nothing to really inform
someone why, what and how those really work.
3. Checksum Checker. Yes, I run this too, but what does it really do
for us? And why do we want to run it? The documentation
just informs you how to run it, and it also gives you some techniques.
Some changes that will be committed over the weekend:
--Corrections to book.xml (ch. 13 and 15 will be come appendices A and
B; ch. 15 already is on my server).
-- DRIschemaref.xml (it had an extra <chapter/> that caused a bad Ch.
12 to print out...)
You will now have 12 Chapters and two appedices of documentation.
