Hi Antony,

if you used the dummy handle 123456789 while ingesting real items and later registered with CNRI and received a valid handle, you can assign the valid handle to old data with the update-handle-prefix script. In that case you got, as you already mentioned, to run:
[dspace]/bin/update-handle-prefix <old handle> <new handle>
to change the old data.
