Hi Bram,
Thanks for submitting this important issue. We've rolled it together with
DS-345 ("Updates in administrative metadata (i.e. dc.description.provenance
field) when editing from admin-pages") as it all relates to provenance and
proving what has happened over time. We'll come back and discuss it fully after
1.6 has been released.
