Stuart Lewis commented on DS-402: --------------------------------- This is not easy to achieve. The JSPUI uses the author (as defined by itemmap.author.index) browse index to search for matching authors. The browse index system does not currently allows case insensitive searching. The XMLUI uses the lucene search system and just searches for the term, so it will search case-insensitive, and search all fields. Since this is not a new behaviour, I think we should leave it for 1.6, and look at it later. Thoughts? > Item mapper search case sensitive (jspui only) > ---------------------------------------------- > > Key: DS-402 > URL: http://jira.dspace.org/jira/browse/DS-402 > Project: DSpace 1.x > Issue Type: Bug > Components: JSPUI > Affects Versions: 1.6.0 > Reporter: Claudia Jürgen > Assignee: Stuart Lewis > > The search for items to map to other collections is case sensitive. So > searching for authors foo will result in no items for authors named Foo. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.dspace.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Dspace-devel mailing list Dspace-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dspace-devel
