All,

Just wanted to send out a quick notice that I'll be cutting the 1.6.0
Release Candidate 2 (RC2) version on Wednesday, Feb 10th.

This release resolves issues that were found in the 1.6.0 RC1 release
(from December). We (the developers) also feel that this RC2 release is
much more stable, and much closer to a final 1.6.0 release. So, we're
very hopeful that we are only a 2-3 weeks away from 1.6.0 final.

I'll send out a more formal announcement once the release is fully
available (via both Maven and SourceForge). We would like to encourage
all of you to help us test this release for any final issues/bugs that
need resolving before 1.6.0 final. As I said, we believe things are
much more stable, but we'd appreciate your help in verifying that!

We will also be scheduling a mini-Testathon for next week, Feb 15-19,
(announcement forthcoming) to perform some quick, concentrated testing
on 1.6.0 RC2.

Let me know if there are any questions or concerns. Again, expect to
see several announcements later this week as we work towards completing
1.6.0.
