Summary: SWORD ingest fails with METSExport tool
Initial Comment:
An attempt to ingest a package manually assembled by exporting an item with the
METSExport tool and zipping up the resulting directory failed with an exception
"Caused by: org.jdom.input.JDOMParseException: Error on line 8:
cvc-datatype-valid.1.2.1: 'DMD_hdl_123456789/876' is not a valid value for
'NCName'"
The DSpace developers suggested using the METS Packager to disseminate the
item. After RTM, SWORD ingest was successful with the Packager approach.
