Hi all, Sorry about all the emails from the old SourceForge tracker today. I just finished a "cleanup" of all our old issues, patches & feature requests in our old SourceForge tracker.
There's been some recent confusion (from several users who've emailed me) around the fact that many old issues/patches/feature requests were still marked as "Open" in SourceForge. Users were unsure if many bugs were 'fixed' or not (and in reality, most of them had been resolved or were vastly out-of-date). In order to clear up confusion, I've closed *everything* in the old SourceForge tracker (and marked all previous open items as "Out of Date"). The initial cleanup I did (closing open issues) accidentally sent updates to this listserv, as I hadn't realized it was still hooked up to this listserv. Sorry for the 80+ emails that everyone received! They are safe to just delete from your inbox. Many of you involved with DSpace for a while may have received emails also for each of the issues/patches/features you submitted to SourceForge (over the past 8 years). Unfortunately there was no way to disable that update -- so, sorry if it was overwhelming at all. The cleanup is now complete -- you may now return to your regularly scheduled development emails. - Tim -- Tim Donohue Technical Lead for DSpace Project DuraSpace.org ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ThinkGeek and WIRED's GeekDad team up for the Ultimate GeekDad Father's Day Giveaway.
