Good afternoon (at least in Portugal). I'm working on this subject for my Ms.C.
dissertation, which I called SCEUR (portuguese acronym for Centralized Service
of Repository Usage Statistics). It's being developed by me at KEEP SOLUTIONS (
http://www.keep.pt/ ), for RCAAP project ( http://www.rcaap.pt ). The main
goals of this project are to standardise institutional repositories Usage Data
and set up an infrastructure that is able to harvest, process and show that
Usage Data in an intuitive manner. It involves creating an addon for DSpace to
expose Usage Data via OAI-PMH (OpenURL ContextObjects compliant), that will be
harvested by a central service from several repositories of the RCAAP
consortium. One important note is that instead of using the statistics engine
that comes with DSpace, we are using University of Minho's addon for
statistics. But the addon developed by me can be generalised for DSpace use.
I'll keep in touch.

> The big stakeholders (OA Statistik, PIRUS, SURF, ...) agreed on a standard
> for exchange of usage data. This could be a very relevant standard to
> integrate.
