Would there be a way how this could be tackled and still preserving the feature
of filtering out bots afterwards based on IP?
If you're going to anonymize IP's, there should be a really good way of
identifying whether it's "real" traffic or not at the time of logging, because
without the IP information it will be hard to clean out afterwards.
