Here's how I envision it. Note that the patch adds last_active getter/setter
to EPerson. I *could* have used setMetadata, but...convert a nice neat Date to
String, and then have the row object convert it right back? Ugly. IMHO
objects should have specific accessors for all fields.
Very lightly tested.
