The University of Arizona Libraries has an Afghanistan Collection, which
consists of Pashuto and Dari language materials. <http://www.afghandata.org>
Metadata only exists in English, and users find it would be great to have
corresponding terms in original languages (e.g. Pashuto, Dari). The feature has
the following benefits:
1. The feature will greatly enhance discovery for foreign language collections.
The feature should be beneficial to the community as a whole. As the feature
can be integrated with "Search" / "result" pages, which display related terms
in desired languages (e.g. "History" v.s. its translations in other languages).
2. The feature eliminates work on providing translation on another languages.
(well, it is unlikely 100% correct).
3. The feature will be useful for search engines and integration of information
resources with other repositories.
I have a developer who can start to develop code for this feature. I do NOT
require any time from the community.
