I think the issue reported here is with the *DSpace* Feedback Form. If you
notice, in the "environment" section above, you'll see this ticket was sent
from this URL:
http://demo.dspace.org/jspui/feedback
It looks like if you do attempt to submit that JSPUI form with an invalid email
or no email, it just does nothing (as described above).
But, if you add a valid email address, the JSPUI feedback form works fine.
