Kevin Van de Velde commented on DS-1333:
----------------------------------------

Hi Tim,

* I cannot reproduce the dc.creator issue just yet
* dc.type & dc.subject: This would be very difficult to accomplish, due to the
fact that the submission clears the metadata for all fields configured in the
input forms & reads in the new values
* dc.identifier: this is a bug where some metadata is being cleared quite
hardcoded, I'm currently fixing this and will fire a pull request in the near
future

> As the demo administrator on demo.dspace.org, I've attempted to create a new
> version of this item:
> However, after creating the new version & going back into the submission
> process (for that new version), the following metadata fields are lost:
> * dc.creator
> * dc.identifier.*
> * dc.type
> * dc.subject
> Each of these metadata fields has values assigned in version #1 of the Item.
> However, in the new version in the submission workflow, non of these existing
> values are pre-populated.
> You can see this in action by logging in as the Admin user and visiting this
> new version of the item in the submission process.
