Hi, I've made some changes to the Oracle upgrade script, as suggested in
DS-1379. That SQL has been reviewed by an Oracle DBA on staff here, and he
believes the SQL to be valid. I can confirm that it applies cleanly to a
DSpace version 1.8 database, with no complaints from Oracle. However, I'm
having trouble testing the resulting DB with a fresh clone of
DSpace:master. My guess it it's just me, and I'm understandably flustered
by this. I'd like to reach out to the community and ask, if possible, if
you have access to Oracle, would you mind doing a quick test and
confirming that an upgrade to DSpace 3.0 works for you? Thanks!

Based on the say-so of our DBA, and the fact that the changes I made were
explicitly requested in the ticket, we've accepted these changes into
DSpace 3.0 today. But, I for one would feel better if another Oracle site
could test an upgrade using DSpace:master. Thanks!
