In my own personal experience, as well as the experience of other Oracle
institutions, as reported to the dspace-tech mail list (see [1] and [2]),
DSpace 3.0 is not currently capable of running on Oracle. This issue is a
place-holder until either I find, or someone else reports more specific issues
and problem areas that need addressing. It would be helpful if the community
could post specific error messages and stack traces as comments to this ticket,
so we can get a clearer understanding of what's going on.
