I can confirm that the /admin URL (e.g. http://demo.dspace.org/xmlui/admin/)
throws a Page not found when logged in as site admin both in 3.0 and 1.8.2. So
it's a wrong URL anyway.
The redirect should probably go to the base url which anyone can see.
