Since "forbidden-apis" looks like it supports Maven, the ideal solution would be to integrate it into our Maven build processes. It need not be run on every build (e.g. mvn package), but perhaps we can enable it to only run when a particular flag is passed to 'mvn package' (that way Continuous Integration systems can run it in a more automated fashion).
