Hi, I'm working on helping out with making a pull request destined for
DSpace 4.0 compatible with Oracle, and as part of this I'm looking at the
code going in here:

https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/master/dspace/etc/oracle/database_sch
ema_3-4.sql

And, well, I am pretty sure I can sort this all out, but I thought I'd
take the chance right now to line up some help on this. If your
institution uses Oracle as a back-end for DSpace, you'll want to be
watching this upgrade SQL file in particular. The master branch of DSpace
is currently changing quite a bit, with today being "feature freeze" day,
so *today* might not be a great day to test... but, if you're in a
position to help testing Oracle compatibility, or if you can possibly do
what it takes to be ready in a week or so (Testathon starts on November 4,
2013), please be ready to help. I'll need it. Thanks!
