Àlex Magaz Graça is right: the purporse of "harvestAdmin" in OAIHarvester.java is to make reference to "harvester.eperson" of the file "oai.cfg": https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/master/dspace-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/harvest/OAIHarvester.java#L1093 However, this variable doesn't make reference to the variable "harvester.eperson". I think the problem could be solve like this: 1) In line: https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/master/dspace-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/harvest/OAIHarvester.java#L1093 the variable should be static. 2) In line: https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/master/dspace-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/harvest/OAIHarvester.java#L1150 The method used to get the parameter "harvester.eperson" should be modified to read configuration from "oai.cfg". The actual line code is getting the value from "dspace.cfg", not "oai.cfg"; according to documentation, this should be the case. 3) And finally, the line code 1323 should be uncommented: https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/master/dspace-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/harvest/OAIHarvester.java#L1323 I'm sorry if I don't submit any patch, but I'm very new in this, and I'm still learning how to submit a contribution. But I hope this can be userful for someone else who had the same problem.
