Hi Bram, it may be just a configuration issue. I will have a look and update the issue accordingly. Keep in mind that there is a final "configuration checking" task that I need to do, so I will try to see this issue as well. Finally, the default configuration must include as many fields from the services (pubmed, arxiv, etc) as can be mapped to DSpace default metadata schema. Kostas

I tested the live lookup feature on pubmed ID and I was able to create a new item. However, the abstract field, which seems super relevant to me, has not been imported in the process. Not sure whether this is intentional or not. Test item: http://demo.dspace.org/jspui/handle/10673/20
