Hi Ivan,
yes, it seems that the problem remains in the new JSPUI.
I have fired a PR (https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/pull/412) resolving the issue for JSPUI.
In item list (either in Browse or in Search) the localized text "Undefined" appears in the case of item with no title so as for the user to have a link to press in order to access the item page.

At the moments items without title are not accessible via the UI (jspui only) to the target audience. Only the administrator can access the items via the administration tools using the item id or the handle.
The default input form mandates a title and thus this scenario only happens while deleting the title.
