This also occurs in the upload step if the text in the "Reason" field is too long:
{{org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(100)}}
Obviously, there has to be some limit on text in these fields, but perhaps a more informative error could be shown to the user, or this could be handled by some _javascript_?

When setting a policy name to "COMMUNITY 232 Delegated admin test" in the XMLUI the attached error is generated.
The name is > 30 chars but the user is shown a DB traceback. The form should have a maximum length on the field. This is probably a general requirement for all forms. (if not already addressed)
