doesn't apply in version 4?, i don't put any search box in the frontpage; i can disable in the navigation bar but don't in frontpage.

There are currently two search boxes in the front page, one in the centre and another in the navigation bar on the right. This duplication of functionality can cause confusion to the users [1].
To avoid this problem, the search box on the navigation bar should not be shown on the front page.
