A particular use case was reported by 2 different people during the DSpace 4 Roundup webinar (http://bit.ly/dspace4-roundup). In cases where submission is delegated to a different person than the original author or rights holder, for example a librarian or secretary, this person may not be the right person to receive and approve the requests for copy. This is why it was stated during the webinar that it would be useful during such a mediated submission, to declare the email address that should receive these requests for copy. Thinking about a possible implementation/solution, I guess this request for copy is a request for an exception on an active embargo. Therefore, instead of storing the email address somewhere in the item metadata, I feel like such an "embargo exception recipient" should be declared and stored together with the embargo.
