Hi Ivan,
We were reviewing this today. Although it seems reasonable for 5.0 (code looks reasonable, I haven't tested yet though), I'm unsure if we'd want to put this into 4.1 since it creates a new I18N key. Because of that, we are not sure this should be added (as it would require new translation updates to 4.x).
If needed, we can always discuss this in next week's meeting though to get a final opinion from all.
