Currently in order to batch import items to multiple collections you need to specify multiple -c flags in the dspace import command. The problem is that there is no way to specify this per item, which at least for us in EKT, would be really useful. I would like to add an option to the batch import command that would treat the collections much like the handle, or the contents: the import would search for a file named 'collections' inside the item directory and read the collection list from it. Either we could assume that the first collection listed in the collections file is the owning collection, or we could require the owning collection to be passed using the -c flag. I'd be grateful for any feedback regarding this, Panagiotis.
