We are currently working on this feature for JSPUI. I hope we can file a PR soon, showing our first results. There is one question, I would like to discuss with the DSpace Community. I attached two screnshots. The first one (named Multiple File Upload, Joblist) show the list of files that were uploaded at once. While uploading the files it shows in percent how much of the file is transmitted already. You can dynamically add more files while other get uploaded already. When a file is fully uploaded it currently marks it as "completed". The second screenshot shows the view that is generated, when the "Next"-Button is hit after file upload. The question I would like to discuss is the following: Wouldn't it be better to merge both views to one? When a file is fully transmitted it could be added dynamically to a table presenting the information that are currently shown on the second view. Than you could see at once the files that currently gets transmitted and the information for the files that are already uploaded. The files in transmission and the files uploaded would be better separated. After you uploaded your files the "Next"-Button would bring you to the "VerifyStep" without stopping at another view on the upload site. On the other hand it might be good to see the files once against in a separated view, before you verify the metadata of the Item. What do you think?

This has some major flaws for example if a transmission breaks the hole file has to be uploaded again, the size of files that can be uploaded this way is limited and you can only upload one file at once. HTML5 File API allows to define an element (f.e....
