Hi Monika,

I'm still seeing a bunch of unrelated commits in the new PR. It's
listing a total of 247 commits (many of which are from 2011, related to
DSpace 1.8.x):

https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/pull/559/commits

Could you give us more info about how you are creating this PR?
Something seems to be going "oddly" here, and it's pulling in a bunch of
unrelated commits.

It's almost like your "prq_bulk_commands" branch is not completely
synced up with "master". I'm not exactly sure what has gone on with that
branch...was it created from your "master" branch? Or was it created
from some other branch?

We do have some guidelines here on how best to do Git development, and
how to create PRs:
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Development+with+Git

It definitely seems like your branch is out of sync. Just not sure
whether it's just that "prq_bulk_commands" branch, or if something has
gone "haywire" with your entire forked repository (akinom/DSpace).
