Hello Na, If I understand correctly, the root of your problem is that the DSpace submission form does not include fields for volume, issue and page information. This is because the submission form is based on elements from the Dublin Core qualified metadata schema, and Dublin Core does not provide elements for this information. (You can read more about Dublin Core elements at http://dublincore.org/documents/dcmi-terms/).
KSpace has some nice examples for how they have described individual issues of a journal: http://www.kspace.org/handle/1984/739/browse-title Hope this helps. We are trying to use SFX to link a submitted journal citation (Dspace item) to the full text article on the publisher site. But we don't see the fields to enter volume, issue and page information and, as a result, SFX cannot parse the complete link to fulltext. Is this something we have to customize the data entry form to add these fields? But even if we did do we have to customize Dspace code so that it will know to get the data from these customized fields in order to work with SFX? Or is it a data mapping thing in Dspace? Would really appreciate it if anyone could help.
