The DSpace/Fedora communities have long had an interest in the development, dissemination and preservation of learning objects. This position will actively promote these interests and work with instructional faculty to advance the development of digital learning objects, software to dynamically connect them and alternative pedagogies that make best use of digital learning objects to improve learning outcomes, all within an "open" (Creative Commons) content environment.
